I have a 2016 Victory Magnum X-1, and I just installed pcv with auto tune. Everything seems to work flawlessly, with the exception of a check engine light. I do have o2 eliminators. My code is 1 5 1269, which is ignition coil related. If I plug the stock harness back in to the coil without pcv plugged in between, then my check engine goes away. Any insight?

What is the part number on the back of the PCV?

Vicbuilder, just a couple simple questions, new owner of 2012 xc, I bought it with the stage 1 already done, big shot 2 tuner, high flow air cleaner, and ness big honkers, my issue is the tuner, I don't it is set up right and would like to figure out an average base map, I am at 3500 ft elevation, and get some popping and the odd backfire at second gear when I get on the throttle, any pointers on set up?
      1. Vicbuilder
        Vicbuilder
Not really, sorry. I almost never work with the Ness version of that controller. I can't say for sure what the baselines would be.

I live on the west coast, do you ever take your dyno on the road?
      1. Vicbuilder
        Vicbuilder
Nope, my dyno is built into the shop, not mobile. Sorry!

Can you help? Have you heard of anyone running +8 on there timing wheel? I have a 2012 xc with pcv-auto, no baffle exhaust, Lloyds xc air filter, timing wheel. I am not detecting any pinging. But what I am detecting is more torque and a deeper cam note then when it was set at +6. I would like to have it Dino tuned at some point in the next year or so. But I just don't have the money right now. I also wanted to make sure I wasn't damaging the motor. Can you help? Oh I am also running 89 octane in it right now to help it ping, so I can set it for a lower grade gas in case I'm on a tour and that's all I can find. But still nothing. On a side note how much do you charge for a dino?
      1. Vicbuilder
        Vicbuilder
Yes, some bikes will take +8. I personally don't set my customers that way just in case, but if it were my bike and it didn't ping then I'd leave it.

What do you charge for the 110 kit and labor to install it, vs the 116 inch kit?

Good Morning. Hope it's not too cold out there today.

Question: there is a seller posting an S&S aircleaner (from IA!) it off an '07 Jackpot. I know they changed something in '08 (the shape?). Will this for sure not fit an '09? I have a Vegas 8ball. Thanks
      1. Vicbuilder
        Vicbuilder
Yes, if the airbox is from an 07 it will 100% NOT fit a 2009

Vicbuilder, thank your the reply to my post as to the throttle being sluggish. I took apart the bike and the throttle body adapter seemed okay. After making sure all was well I cleaned the bodies again, re assembled and rode to work. It felt better but in all honesty I don't know how to check the Shrader valve, is it the same as a tire? May be a dumb question but I didn't want to screw anything up.

One more thing, if I could change just one thing about my bike it is that I wish I had a sixth gear. Do you know of any kits or Xmsns that would work for a little less rpms on the highway? It's an 03 92TC. Thanks in advance.

        Vicbuilder
Yes, there is an overdrive pulley that is $325 and will lower your crusing RPM's. I've got one in stock if you like....

You asked about somebody sending you a set of XeID to check out. I would be willing to mail them to ou if you would share the results and send back. They are simple to remove being inline, just has a ground wire that takes most of the work and they are really long in case the user wants the adjustment knob somewhere usefull.
My whole concern is on my 2008 Sportster I cleared the trouble code and it never came back, on my XC it keeps coming back.

I have a 07 Kingpin Tour. I want to keep my 100 cubic inch and I cruise between 60 and 70mph (2000-3000rpm) most of the time. I love getting on it from time to time.People cannot believe how fast it is. You know my bike must have been built on Wednesday. I have Victory drag pipes, S&S airbox and S&S Hammer map. If I did cams, headwork (port and polish) and swapped some pistons how much HP and torque could I get ? I like being different and just don't think I need to stroke and big bore right now. I love my bike and a dealer Tech rode and it and swears I've done more than pipes and air cleaner. Thank you for your time.

I imagine you'd be in the 110/110 territory with more compression and cams.

So if i really want to increase torque, I would need to stroke and bore it. I see the new Indian has 119 of torque but thats a 111. Thank You for your time.
