Hi, noticed an older thread stating you were getting the kw 5 degree rake, did you ever do that mod? Debating doing this and a 21" wheel on my hammer. Now I've read something about 2" fork extenders to raise front of bike up? Kit I was looking at had upper and lower fork tube with trees not sure if that's what they were talking about? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I did not. I had been considering the kewlmetal rake kit but they were out of business for a while and my plan kind of changed direction. Good luck though. I bet the 21 would look bad assed on a hammer. On a side note, I recently moved from a XC to a Magnum (with the 21" front wheel) and if anything, the handling is better!

Looks like they changed the meetup to Sunday, and since I have duty that day I won't be able to go. If I am wrong though, and it is still Saturday , i will let you know. You're more than welcome to come along any time

Hey Tom, I am currently deployed, so your best bet for info would be to search for "saints and soldiers" on meetup.com They've got a handful of ridea already planned for the year, and I am bummed that I will be missing them! I guess the best way I can summarize is that it is a laid back riding club, very accepting and family orientated.
