    I hate to hear this one as well. Always loved his music. Soundgarden, Audioslave, and his solo stuff was some of my favorites.

    I loved everything Cornell did and I often said he is the best singer in all rock and roll.I am bummed out.

    His life must have really sucked to get to 52 yrs old and decide that hanging was his best choice. He had a family, money, a viable income, and many people liked him and his music...yea his life really sucked. :boohoo:

    I'm sure drugs probably played a part in this. Sad to have all that and still be miserable.

    The human mind can take people to dark places, regardless of drugs or station in life. Makes no sense but until it's affected someone you love and respect, it's hard to fathom. Tragic for this children.

    what a shame... amazing voice. So sad for his family. I absolutely loved his music growing up... saw Soundgarden and Audioslave back in the day.

    Never heard of him, never heard of the bands, and am a great believer in when one dies, no matter how, then it is that persons time to die..... Having said that, I find it tragic when I see/hear of people at a relative young age die seemingly for no other reason then their number is up.....
