It appears that an Indian Dealer accidentally distributed an email highlighting the pricing of the new Indians and that information found its way onto this site.

Since it appears this was done by accident and since the Factory has done such of nice job of building the excitement as well as keeping things under wraps for so long, I didn't feel it was appropriate to disseminate this leaked information on this site.

I'm just trying to take the high road and hope everyone understands.

We'll see the info on the 2014 Indians soon enough.

    Thanks for understanding.

A piece of information obtainedby legal means is taken down on this site as to not upset Polaris. Tell me, what is that called if not censorship? And it sure as hell wasn't distributed by accident. The dealer was asking for a$1000 deposit for each of the 3 models it described!! Hardly an accidental forward of an email on inside company business. Obviously an authorized dealer of Indian trying to get a customer early. But NOT an ACCIDENT by anyone's definition!!

My opinion is that it is a show of common courtesy and respect to Indian. Could he have left it up? Absolutely.....but then again, feeling entitled to whatever we want (even if it screws others) in this day and age no longer surprises me at all.

It's calledCYA, for a guythat makes a buck offthe Polaris/Indian teat.
Who does it screw exactly? It used to be that the idea of the free press was to get the story, and since it was hardly gotten by unscrupulous means...its fair game!! All the removal of the post was, is a kiss upto Indian, nothing more.

I got the same email today with a form to reserve a 2014 Indian from my local dealer. The form and email contained the same information posted here earlier. Perhaps it was not a mistake or jumping the gun but is part of the marketing plan. Interesting is the fact that the last line of the email looks like ot was written by corporate and not edited before sending out (see below)

Thank your customer, tell them how valuable they are to you, but don't go overboard. Insincerity is easy to spot.
    Sincerely,

I'm sure you're being blinded by all the advertising from Victory, Indian and Polaris you see on this site!

For the record this site has never accepted a penny from the factory. All the ads are served by companies such as Google and I don't micromanage the ads that appear. They are based on content.

If thats's true, than I apologize sincerely.Butstill, it is a minimum of poor reporting to notlet the info be posted that was obviously put out intentionally by an authorized Indian dealer. How doyou are anyoneelse know that the info isn't intended by Indian to be out there?
