Not a very happy camper right now. Took the Vision to the dealer for clutch issues on the 2nd of March. Still dont have my ride back yet, Polaris screwed up and didnt let them know 2 springs were on back order. They gave me a loaner bike, and its not good, extremely upset with Polaris right now.

I agree with Dave. Unless they gave you a Mo-Ped, I'd be happy. Mistakes happen, just chill and go ride their bike like you stole it.

Hope you get yours back soon.

    Seriously??
They gave you a loaner bike and you're bitching?
Mistakes happen. Just be glad you still can ride while yours is in the shop.

I would be ecstatic if I had to take my bike in and got a loaner. They could have left you with no bike at all.

I agree with all of you, but the bike was brought to them on the 2nd of March and the loaner wasnt offered until I called them on the 12th. I asked them if they could help me out with something and they gave me a 2012 Kawasaki Vulcan. Definitely not my Vision.

For what it's worth, I'd be p'ode too. They've had your bike way too long and didn't give you something comparable to ride.

I'm with clif02. I have had work done where parts were not readily available and have never been offered a loaner while I waited. If they had given you a HD Road Glide, my present bike, you might not be quite as POd. They ride much like a Vision but from my own experience with mine, I don't like the maintenance they require, which is not an issue on a loaner. Just tell them what is not quite working right when you bring it back. They should appreciate the exhaustive test ride you will be doing for them.

I understand that you are upset and not able to ride your own bike, but it is still freakin' winter up here. I would be happy to have a day where it is worth getting the bike out of the garage. I changed my oil, cleaned it up, and now just sitting looking out the window as a salt truck drives past. [IMG]

I do agree with most of the oother folks on here that having a loaner is a pretty good deal. I do see where you had no bike for about 10 days, but at least you can be knnes to the breeze today if you like.
Hope you get your scooter back soon,
    Rob
