    ^^^^ This

Here is a link to the amp he is referring to. You could also use an aftermarket amp and V-Twin Audio's plug and play harness.

Exactly what I thought, I was just hoping there was wiring already run from the fairing to the rear in anticipation of installing bag lid speaker systems in all the Magnums out there. But I understand Vic is saving money by not running unnecessary wiring for bikes that might never get additional speakers.

There is wiring from the fairing to the back of the bike on Magnums. The plug is under the left side panel below the seat. You will need the wiring from there to the Magnum's rear amp (or an aftermarket amp) then up to the trunk speakers. Let me know if you need me to post a picture of the plug and where it is located.

Yeah I put the trunk on and no speaker but lights and power outlet work fine so I took it to my local dealer where I bought it and they told me I needed to buy the 4 channel amp which is about $400 or I can buy aftermarket for around the same price....Fairing speakers are enough I listen to music with headphones because they also work as ear plugs for those long ride days

The audio is not amplified at that connection. It will require either a 4 channel amp up front (V-Twin Audio has the wiring harness if you go that route) or the Victory 2 channel amp that gets mounted under the rear fender to power either the saddlebag lid speakers or the trunk speakers. You could actually do both trunk and saddlebag lids if you find a small 4 channel amp to power all four speakers.

Here is the 2 channel from Victory. Might be worth a little wait to see if they drop the price on them. Just a thought...

You can get 2 and 4 channel bike amps of GREAT quality for far less than $400..I know that's what I will be doing. Maybe a little Rockford Fosgate to power the trunk speakers. PLENTY of boom!

I was just throwing all the options out there. I would recommend aftermarket also! I'm installing an Arc Audio system in my magnum right now. 4 channel 600 watt class D amp, 6x9's in the saddlebag lids, and 6.5's up front. Can't wait to get it finished up and hear what it sounds like!!!
