OK, so here it is... The much anticipated dynograph comparison ofLLOYDZ Motor Workz LSC (blue) VM1-DR (black) and HPT (red) cams
The bikes represented here are all 106" Victory Cross Country models, with LLOYDZ timing gear @+6, LLOYDZ high flow intake, Vance and Hines exhaust, PCV, and DYNO
(we have not yet compiled data using 3 of the same steel frame models with the same components)

Can't have your cake and eat it too... unless you have lots of cubic inches or forced induction (read: cubic dollars).

I like how the LSC gets rid of that low rpm DIP in the torque curve.

Interesting chart Lloyd is showing. This is HPT cams, Hi Flow Lloydz Air filter and D&D wrapped pipes... the only difference between the two in this graph is one is with cats (red) one is without (Blue)... This is pretty close to his LSC cams.... but they are HPT cams....

Here is a good comparison of how the HPT cams respond to exhaust changes. Bike: 2013 XC, HPT cams, Lloydz air cleaner, ECU flash, timing wheel @ 6, PCV and Bassani Road Rage 2>1 exhaust.

First pull is by Lloydz, exhaust has NO baffle at all, straight thru...

Second pull is by KMC, only change is baffle installed, but without any sound deadening material .

I Know...two different dynos on two different days...

But still nice to see how the baffle effects the results...

So more power up top long after the stock cam is out of its range. The stock cam penciled in is all about low end grunt. The LSC looks best to me. The most tq of the 3 down low and up top they are pretty close. I like having as much mid-rang tq as possible. That's where I ride. Good results and I'm looking forward to my XC making power like that one day.

Remember... These are examples of full throttle graphs.

In reality, how often do you whack the throttle wide open at 1800 rpm? This isn't something you're ever going to see/use/do.

It's all about balance since our bikes don't have variable-valve control/timing. I would prefer smoother take-up and more torque in the low-end of the power band since that's where you'll be riding most of the time.

The LSC ( Lloydz Signature Cams ) ...were introduced specifically at first for the SC applications......

Lloydy tried them out in the Baby 106SC motor last May ......

On my bike with the HPT cams I am making a 100 lbs tq @ 2500rpm....the same as the signature....so I really haven't lost any low end tq.

I like how the VM1 has more torque where I ride most. You loose just a touch above 5000 but where a cruiser, touring bike runs most the VM1 is a good choice

See if we can get Oldman47 to put up his dyno sheet for his Vision. Pretty dang good with minimal mods.

    Screenshot_2017-04-12-08-19-07.png Here's my Vision. PC-V, upper filter, wheel @ +4 , and stage1 mufflers.

@Oldman47 has stock exhaust and veriable intake. I think our graphs are pretty close.

But this is a thread on X bike cam #s. So not sure how this is relevant.
