I hate to be the first to throw in the towel, but it is not going to get better as far as value goes

I'm just getting started. 10 years of parts and support, until they probably mesh the 2 bikes together. No problem, at least 10 years of riding for this horse. Really warm today!!!

looks like the pricing has come down a bit, but I'm sure that $16,995 price for the Vision already includes all the discounts (including the $1,000 Hero's Medal). Still very appealing compared to the $22k list price. Too bad I already have a Vision. Now a High Ball on the other hand...might need to clear out some space in the garage for an around-town scoot like that :)

    Realistically now, no bullsh!t...

I have about 28K in my bike. It is, for all intents and purposes, a brand new 2006 Kingpin with 100,000 miles on the odometer. It shifts like buttered glass, it handles like it's on a rail, and it makes enough torque to change the rotational speed of the planet. It is in PERFECT mechanical condition (all freshly redone).

But... I bet I couldn't sell it for $5000. Maybe, if the right guy who knew what it would do and was looking for the ultimate sleeper/cruiser came along I could get that, but it's a 2006 Kingpin and by the book it's worth $5,875 retail and $4,045 trade-in (KBB today).

Sell it? No way. This thing is more fun than sex. To me, worth ever penny I have in it. If you ever want to giggle like a 13 year old girl, take this thing out.

If I can get a nice Vic for half price I will not be the loser.

Im thinking a X1 for $15K is nothing but a win!

Absolutely you will be the winner !! It's a buyers market at the moment not a sellers market..... I am looking into a XCT if the price is right.

Well I have 08 KP and 13 CCT, neither are for sale and I plan on keeping both even before this BS, will ride CCT to Sturgis this year from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. If I was looking for a bike and knowing what I know now I for sure would be buying another Victory and at a better price than what the first two cost.
    Regards

Amen. Screw resale. If you want resale go buy a mint condition 100 year old bike that belongs in a museum and mount it on your wall.

What type of resale do you get from eating a 100 dollar steak and a 300 dollar bottle of wine? A bunch of sh!t. But you enjoyed it, didn't you?

For those who volunteer to take a beating by pantic selling your Victory now as the prices are in free fall I have one question:

Can you replace it with a better bike for what you'll get for it? I didn't think so. Therefore, you haven't lost anything if you just keep it, ride it and enjoy it for the same reasons you bought it for in the first place.

Do NOT volunteer to be a victim.
