a buddy is removing the heated grip system from his xc tour and they become mine for helping him. Anyone know if its plug and play with the magnum harness? (cause just from my dealings with my trunk audio...im leaning towards it not being fun and easy) btw use the little witchdoctors part to fix my left mirror being lower than my right mirror. 19 dollar part was worth it. 12250151_10153234087677218_3383751466448002487_n.jpg

I thought about adding them to my magnum. Let me know if it works. I was looking at buying a set and the try to use different bar ends.

As a note, when the bar ends are installed on the right side you'll need to leave a small gap. The grips swell slightly when heated and if the bar end is too close the throttle will become stiff and hold its position similar to a throttle lock. If you go too far, a little tap should give enough clearance. Maybe a millimeter is all you need.

Thanks for the heads up on the mirror part. I been griping about that thing for a couple years not knowing there was a fix. The hard knuckles on my gloves hits it unless I have the mirror angled upward slightly.
    Time for some Tootsies!

    3,

No idea on if the heated grips will bolt on easy peasy or not. I just wanted to say your Magnum is B E A U T I F U L, congratulations on your excellent taste in motorcycles.

I installed heated grips on my cc. It was all plug and play. I would assume the magnum uses the same wiring harness.

I would think you should be good to go.

I still have the instruction sheet from my 2012 cc if you need a copy.

I installed the heated grips this weekend and it is plug and play on the Magnum. Simply just use the correct color coded wires and that's about it. I will say that you will need to remove the inner fairing to insert the switch housing as well. Other than that it's not to bad. If you have any questions let me know.
