that's because it's a universal kit. Vic sells one kit for many different models.
If there were no spare parts someone robbed your kit

It's definitely not the same situation as taking apart your engine, putting it back together and having leftover parts! The large o-ring and washer can meet Mr. Trashcan.

Just kidding..actually I'm looking into the kit myself. I would like to start changing my own oil and you let me know that the kit has everything he needs. Just wondering if it had a funnel and a "copper" crush washer? They sell the kid had rollin' fast for $60. Is that what you paid for it? Also I found this really cool drain pan. Unfortunately it's made by Hardly Dangerous, but it's really cool.

Hating to deal with the 4.5 quarts that first have to come out and the normal mess I create, I let my dealership deal with that.
    $70, while I wait.

Wish I could say the same, buy my Vegas takes six quarts of oil so the "kit" is really only a partial solution for me.

Bought the same oil drain pan from one of the local Harley shops and I LOVE it. Of course I would have bought it even quicker if it said Victory. I wonder why Ma Vic doesn't make one. I sure take some of the pain out of an oil change. I suppose if I take my bike in for the service both Ma Vic and the dealer stand to profit. Obviously the dealer gets to charge me for the work, and then I have all that time to wander around and drool over the new bikes....

That 4.5 qt kit has been around for awhile, at least my dealer had it when I got my bike in 2013. Also witchdoctor sells the kit and I believe amazon has it also.
