I've been looking for a tank bra now for at least a week and it takes my wife all of 5 minutes on her Playbook to find this website, so I thought I would share it with the members of The Vog. http://www.sagebrushdesigns.com/tank_bib.html Be Safe

Those look really great. In fact, I have even talked to Chris...very nice guy. I may purchase one. But, when I was talking to him...I was hoping for a just a cover for the end of the tank (the end nearest the seat)...to keep my belt from scratching the tank. But he said they can't do that one yet. I am hoping that SOON someone out there will do this kind of tank cover, bra, bib, etc. Wally

Hi Wally My problem is that I have the 8 Ball version with the skulls and that the bra would cover most of the design on the tank. I will be sending him a picture and seeing if they can alter it to conform with the skulls. I'm still on a search so if I find anything else I'll post it. Be Safe Billy

The tank bibs are very nice. I sent them an email asking about highway bar closeouts and saddlebag lid covers. I got a response very quickly and found that they don't make the closeouts yet because they don't have a pattern and lid covers weren't planned yet. I'll be sending my OEM closeouts so he can make a pattern (forged) and pushing for the lid covers.

The Lid covers would be great! Im wondering about the tank bid though. If anything like a bra on a car, the tank is going to scratched to hell just by the abrassive leather on the tank. Is there some kind of backing on the bra or do you just plan to never take it off?

I think historically most never remove them and yes, they will cause permanent scratches if you don't cover the tank with something like a 3M film. That said, I do like the plain XC bib! [IMG]

They have a felt covered back so it doesnt scratch the tank, most of that info is on the website.

Sure, it has felt but dirt gets in the felt and it will scratch the tank unless you never ride in dust, wind or rain and the bib never moves around. Trust me, been there, done that, got the sore arms from compounding out scratches to prove it.

Excellent looking bib...but OUCH on the price. Seems a little high. Again, looks like excellent work though.
