Rode my old Honda VT1100 ACE to work today for a change...

Every now and then I take the Honda Rebel 250 out, that is truely a mini-bike.

I am cheating also, been riding the VTX1800 the last few days. Makes my XCT feel like old station wagon with a straight 6.

I would love to have a Rebel or a XL883 for a "City" bike to play on. almost bought a Kaw BN125 last week for that reason. $50.00 a year insurance and 70-80 MPG and tons of grins.

It may be faster but the seat on the VTX is brutal on the butt for a long day's ride. It's a bar hopper. Period.

Not mine;yes the stock seat sucks that is why I have a Corbin on it andI have done many 1000 days. I am liking the stock seat on the XCT, Victory kicks Honda's ass in that area. Do not get me wrong I really like my XCTit is just not the power house that my VTX is and I when i jump from one to the other that is whenI really can tell the difference.

I actually like the rebel. Does anyone know how much it would cost me to own one? I expect to pick up my new Vision in the next week or less but for short drives that Rebel really appeals to me.

I currently have my 07 Yamaha Roadliner up for sale. When I first took if for a ride this spring I was reminded of the gobs or torque that motor makes, an amazing motor in the Yamaha. I love every part of myCC better: ride, suspension, handling, and so on. That is why I bought it last summer.

Whew! I thought this thread was about illicit extramarital relations on a motorcycle. Thanks for clearing that up!

My "other bike" is a High-Ball and I don't think the XC is too concerned, at least I haven't seen any sign of it.
One observation I will make, the XC feels absolutelysluggishafter getting off the High-Ball! I don't know if it's all because of the lighter weight of the High-Ball, but it just feels a lot more powerful. Having said that I would always choose the XC for a long ride... and I really do love her!

I have a 1200 Sportster that gets some love every now and then. The Sporty has no windshield, no cruise, no floorboards, no nothing, but is the essence of motorcycling.
