Is that better than you did on the E3s?

That's pretty good. The best I got on the E3s were just over 10K. Im running the Metz888s currently but may give the E4s a try next. Thanks for the info.

Thinking of replacing the 880's on my steel frame with those (888), how are they?

I have really been enjoying them. Compared to the E3s the 888s have a sportier feel. What I mean is the E3s always felt like they had a very round design vs. the 888s feel like its more of a pointed design. This makes the 888s really fall into the turns and makes my Vision feel as if she reacts faster than with the E3s.

The main reason I switched from the E3s was they did not seem to like the wet when nearing the end of their life. The 888s are said to be better here but until I get them closer to the end of their life I cant say. Currently in the wet they run well and I have not had any issues with them.

Thanks as I currently running 880s and ride well but are not radials like the 888's. But designed to compete with the Michelins in the wear department, or so I have read...

That was the other thing. The 888s were said to be able to give more miles than the E3s. Ive seen mixed reviews on this and since we all ride different the only way I can find out it see what I get. If I don't beat the E3s by a good bit I will probably try the E4s. If they do give me what they are said they will I will not hesitate getting another set.

    I
I got 8 k out of an 880. I currently have 11k on the 888. I think It's got 2k left until it gets to the indicators. Road in the rain on Thu and it still performed very well . I'm going to order another 888 this week.

Yep not going to get even 10K on the Elite 4. I'm at 7K on it right now and I really need to get it replaced just trying to hold a little bit longer. I might get 10K if I let it get like @IM12STPN back tire. If you have a heavy throttle hand then Elite 4s are not for you. I do have to say they handle by far better then the elite 3s do in the rain. I'm not sure what I will go with this time.

E(5)!? Do tell. Haven't heard of those yet? Just got to liking the E4s. No E5s on the Dunlop website?

@Jeb27 how the hell did you get some much out of your E4? You said you have a heavy hand as do I, but you have more power, so my hand probably isn't as heavy as yours. I tried to stretch it out to 10k but I was about to start showing belts right at 7.5k. The dealership went ahead and put on a Michelin Commander 2 for me to see that will last. I would go back to the E3 but just not a fan of it's handling capabilities.
