Mine don't rattle. The Polks I had in before were getting ~130w per speaker, no rattle.

Hi, if you went to 6.5 would you lose the speaker enclosure they have? Does it go in without any other parts? Thank you

Looking to upgrade my fairing speakers as well. ALso the amp. Looking at a jl 500w 4 channel amp. And Polk component speakers. I figured that would be cheaper than upgrading all that and bag lids with speakers too.

I could hear mine okay when I ran it through pandora on my phone. I wanted sound quality and to be able to make out the words better at 90.
    My upgrade list:
    Arc audio 600.4 moto amp
Hertz 5.25 high energy in the front
Hertz energy 6x9s in the lids.
The magnum is weird and a little bit difficult to wire compared to the regular Cross bikes.
I couldnt use the front high level input due to the factory amp. Use you rear speaker output from the bike to amp input. Then it should recognize it and make it 4 channel output for your speakers.
Also we stuffed the factory speaker enclosures with poly fill. That way it gave us a little bit more solid hit to the fronts.

You guys really need to go on Facebook in the Victory Owners Group and see what is really going on with audio for these bikes.

You didn't see anything good? Eric e bo Walker, Daniel Hearn myself and a bunch of others are doing some really killer systems. Lots of tips and tricks, new equipment that is tried and proven...Always something to learn.

Yes i have learned a lot through there. Not to many in the magnum as of yet.
I didnt want to run aftermarket head unit.
It wasnt easy deciding what i went with. I was really struggling on amp choice. I went with arc but i am almost think i should have went with the t400x4ad rockford.

Ok, they're are a bunch of guys using amps and speakers from companies that a lot of people have never heard of. DS18 and db Drive are two brands that really shine. The DS18 Candy amps and 6.5 mids are a hot item. Also the Yeti mod, that's where I 1st heard about that. There is a guy Eric e bo Walker that will set up a media player so the face plate can be mounted in the stock location, while the rest is mounted under the faring. Awesome set up I have a Pioneer MVH 390 coming to see if I can do it my self. I'll post some pics shortly.

Same system on 2015 and 2016. I agree I can hear mine fine at 80-85. Magnums have pandora setting and I use that with excellent results, just start the bike and it links up to Pandora automatically , dont even have to open the app on my phone!
