OnlineNetwork.com, LLC ("TheVOG.net" or "Company" or "we" or "us") is committed to giving you transparency of our privacy practices and control over your information data in connection with TheVOG.net's Site, as defined in the Company's Term and Conditions Agreement (the "Agreement").  Please review the accompanying Terms and Conditions Agreement, incorporated herein by reference.  Terms capitalized in this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") are defined in the Terms and Conditions Agreement.  Please read this Policy to learn more about our privacy practices.  This Policy describes the information we collect from you and what may happen to that information, and only applies to such information.  This Policy may be modified from time to time, in our sole discretion, so check back frequently.  We will notify you of any changes to the Policy by posting a new Policy and updating the "Last Modified" date at the top of this page.  



This Policy applies to the TheVOG.net Site, and covers the Company's treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personally Identifiable Information") and other data that the Company gathers when you are accessing TheVOG.net Site or collected via e-mail, text or other electronic communications between you and the Site.    



1.    Information Collection.  
A.    We receive and store any information you enter on our Site or provide to us in any way, in order to create a better, more personalized experience for you.  For purposes of this Policy, "Personally Identifiable Information" means information that could be used to identify you personally, including, but not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, birthday, photograph, social media account usernames (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, and/or Pinterest), a password, browser information and/or your zip code.  The Personally Identifiable Information you provide is used for such purposes as allowing you to set up a user account ("User Profile") that can be used to interact with the Site and other users through the Site (including Site forums), improving the content of the Site, customizing the advertising and content you see on the Site, and communicating with you about special new features and information of interest.  We may also draw upon this Personally Identifiable Information in order to adapt the Site to better meet your needs, to research the effectiveness of our Site, and to develop new tools and data for the Site.  
B.    We may automatically receive your location when you use our Site (e.g., via your "internet protocol" ("IP") address).  We may also automatically track certain basic information about our Users, such as, but not limited to, IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, click patterns, etc.  We use this information to do internal research on usage patterns, demographics, interests and general behavior to better understand and serve you.  
C.    We utilize site analytics to help us measure how visitors use our Site.  To do this, we use "cookies."  A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on your computer that is tied to information about you.  The type of information collected includes the URLs you came from and go to, your browser information, and IP address, and helps us learn how to improve our services.  
D.    For your convenience, we also use cookies to allow you to enter your password less frequently during a session and to provide for an easier registration process.  The Site also uses cookies to “remember” basic information including, but not limited to, screen names and forum threads that you have already visited.  If you configure your browser or otherwise choose to reject the cookies, you may still use our Site.  However, keep in mind that to best experience our Site and most easily use our Site you must have cookies enabled.  Our use of cookies is consistent with the rights and restrictions set forth in Provision 2.  
E.    We may collect information such as videos and pictures you publish on the Site, information you upload to the Site, and correspondence we receive from Users and third parties about your activities or postings via our Site.  Our use of this information is consistent with the rights and restrictions set forth in Provision 2.  


2.    Use of Information.  
A.    We use the information we collect about you (including your Personally Identifiable Information) to create a better, more personalized experience for you based on your individual usage habits, improve our marketing and promotional efforts, analyze site usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customize our site’s content, layout, services and Site.  These uses improve our Site and allow us to better customize it to meet your needs.  We also use the information we collect about you to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our Terms and Conditions Agreement.  
B.    We may compile the information we collect about you and use it, in an aggregate form, in the negotiation and establishment of service agreements with public and/or private enterprises under which such enterprises will serve as Company partners.  
C.    We may use, for promotional, sales or any use that we consider appropriate, your correspondence with us, or videos or images uploaded by you for publication on our Site.  Our use of such materials is consistent with the restrictions on disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information set forth in Provision 3.  
D.    The Site uses an advertising model for generating revenue, and although we have not yet sold advertising directly, we contract with platforms, such as Google, to connect relevant advertisers to our Users.  These platforms may use cookies.  We suggest that you familiarize yourself with how Google uses cookies in its advertising: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ .


3.    Disclosure of Your Information.  
A.    Without your affirmative consent (and then only on a case-by-case basis), we do not sell, rent, or share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties, unless otherwise required as described in “Required Disclosures” below.  To the extent we share information with our partners and advertisers, we share only aggregated or otherwise non-Personally Identifiable Information that is not linked to your Personally Identifiable Information.  
B.    You should understand that information you provide through the registration process or post to the public areas of our Site, including your “User Profile” or generally through the use of our Site (including your name (if provided) and location information) may be accessible by and made public through syndication programs and by search engines, metasearch tools, crawlers, metacrawlers and other similar programs, and may be searchable by other users of TheVOG.net Site.  
C.    We may need to disclose your Personally Identifiable Information when required by law, including laws outside your country of residence, or if we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website, (2) enforce this Policy or the Terms and Conditions Agreement, (3) respond to claims that your information violates the rights of third parties, including those outside of your country of residence, or (4) protect the rights, property or personal safety of TheVOG.net, its users and the public.  You authorize us to disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate, in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose us or you to legal liability.  
D.    Your Personally Identifiable Information is protected by password for your privacy and security.  You need to prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personally Identifiable Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately, and limited access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.  Although TheVOG.net endeavors to safeguard User information, we cannot guarantee the security of User account information.  Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of User information at any time.  
E.    The Site may contain links to other websites.  The links may be on the Company website, or submitted by other Users of the Site.  The Company is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on these other websites.  The fact that we may link to a website or online service, or permit Users to link to a website or online services, is not an endorsement, authorization or representation of our affiliation with that third-party website, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies, practices and procedures.  We do not exercise control over third-party websites and online services, and these third parties may place their own cookies or other files on your computer and collect data or solicit personal information and/or non-identifying information from you.  When linking to another website, whether by providing links or clicking on other Users’ links, you should read the privacy policy stated on that website, because they likely follow different rules regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information.  This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on the Site.  


4.    Communications from TheVOG.net and Other Users of TheVOG.net’s Site.  
A.    As a User of the TheVOG.net Site, you may from time to time receive correspondence from the Company to your email address which must be provided upon registration.  If you do not want to receive email from us, you can selecting “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” to stop receiving future correspondence.  Please note that if you do not want to receive communications and legal notices from us, such as notices regarding this Privacy Policy and/or changes to the Terms and Conditions Agreement, those legal notices will still govern your use of the TheVOG.net Site, and you are responsible for reviewing such legal notices for changes.  We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from the Company if your computer supports this type of program.  The Company may use this confirmation to help us make emails more interesting and helpful and improve our Site.  
B.    You may also receive communications from individuals who are Users of the TheVOG.net Site.  You may elect to not receive communications from such other individuals by logging into your Account and adjusting your Privacy Settings.  If you choose this option, please note that you must message other Users to initiate a conversation before they can send a return message.  Use caution when providing your email address or any other type of personal information within your User Profile or on any of the forums.  The Company suggests not posting your personal contact information, including your email address, directly within your User Profile.  


5.    Reviewing, Updating, Deleting and Deactivating Personally Identifiable Information and Privacy Settings.  After registration for our Site, we provide a way to update and customize your privacy settings.  You may access these options by accessing “Account” and then selecting “Privacy Settings” once logged in to the Site.  
Upon your request, we will deactivate your account and remove your Personally Identifiable Information from our active databases.  If you terminate your account, your User Profile, including your history, uploaded information, submissions, etc., will be removed from the Site and deleted from the Company’s servers in due course.  
Nonetheless, we may retain in our files information you may have requested us to remove if, in our sole discretion, retention of the information is necessary to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems or to enforce the Terms and Conditions Agreement.  Furthermore, your information may never be completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints.  



6.    Notification of Changes.  
A.    If we decide to change this Policy, we will post those changes at http://www.TheVOG.net.org/privacy and/or post a notice of the changes to this Policy on the homepage at http://www.TheVOG.net.org/) and/or other places we deem appropriate, so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.  We may also elect to notify you via email.    
B.    If we make any material changes in our privacy practices, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying you of the change.  In some cases where we post a notice, we will also email you, assuming you have opted to receive communications from us, notifying you of the changes in our privacy practices.  However, if you have deleted/deactivated your account, or unsubscribed from communication, then you will not be contacted.  


7.    International Users and International Transfers.  If you are located outside of the United States, please note that this Site is hosted on our computer servers in the United States.  Therefore, your information may be processed and stored in the United States.  As a result, United States federal and state governments, courts, or law enforcement or regulatory agencies may be able to obtain disclosure of your information through laws applicable in the United States.  Your use of our Site or your submission of any Personally Identifiable Information to us will constitute your consent to the transfer of your Personally Identifiable Information outside of your home country and into the United States, which may provide for different data protection rules than in your home country.  Your consent to this Privacy Policy (implied by continued use of the Site) followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to transfer of your information.  If you do not agree to this transfer, do not use the Site.  


8.    Business Transfers.  The Company may sell, divest, transfer, assign, share or otherwise engage in a transaction that involves some or all of our assets, including any or all of the information described in this Policy, in the course of a corporate divestiture, merger, acquisition, joint venture, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, or any other similar transaction or proceeding.  


9.    Users Under 18 Years of Age and Parental Participation.  If you are under age 18, absolutely do not attempt to register for the TheVOG.net Site and do not provide any Personally Identifiable Information about yourself to us.  If we learn that we have collected Personally Identifiable Information from an individual under age 18, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.  If you believe that we might have any information from an individual under age 18, please contact us at the contact information Provision 10 as soon as possible.
