Reason Behind The Deleted Indian Price Thread

I got the same email today with a form to reserve a 2014 Indian from my local dealer. The form and email contained the same information posted here earlier. Perhaps it was not a mistake or jumping the gun but is part of the marketing plan. Interesting is the fact that the last line of the email looks like ot was written by corporate and not edited before sending out (see below)

Thank your customer, tell them how valuable they are to you, but don't go overboard. Insincerity is easy to spot.

It's called CYA, for a guy that makes a buck off the Polaris/Indian teat.

Who does it screw exactly?  It used to be that the idea of the free press was to get the story, and since it was hardly gotten by unscrupulous means...its fair game!!  All the removal of the post was, is a kiss up to Indian, nothing more.

Well, you proved my point....so I guess you'll be heading out now, huh?

QUALITY over speed. Doing a crappy job fast is worthless, so take pride in your work as so few do these days. If you want to lose respect, then act like your work doesn't matter.

The same info was posted on the Indian Facebook page by someone else.  Lot's got the email it appears...accidental release my a$$!!  lol

I'm sure you're being blinded by all the advertising from Victory, Indian and Polaris you see on this site!

For the record this site has never accepted a penny from the factory. All the ads are served by companies such as Google and I don't micromanage the ads that appear. They are based on content.

If thats's true, than I apologize sincerely.  But still, it is a minimum of poor reporting to not let the info be posted that was obviously put out intentionally by an authorized Indian dealer.  How do you are anyone else know that the info isn't intended by Indian to be out there?

THis is not a news outlet, it is a free entertainment and discussion forum. The day you start paying is the day you can start bitching

I've been working in the background and it appears that this information was not sent out intentionally. Yes, mistakes do happen in this day and age.
