New HornDawg Tank Bib

I decided I would try the newest version of the Horndawg Tank Bib and so far I am very pleased with it. It has a nice sized pocket that will fit several things.

The quality on these bibs is excellent.

Honestly, I prefer the PLAIN bib on my bike, but I am leaving the pocket bib on just to see how much I actually use it...but at least now I have a CHOICE.

NOTE: I do not work for or KNOW the Horndawg Leather people. My review is strictly my opinion.

LOL...yes I have been busy. LOL

The bib uses ULTRA STICK 3M double-sided tape to secure the bib to the tank. Basically all you do it line it up WITHOUT taking the back off the tape...mark you tank with something that you can remove (tape or a crayon)...then remove backing and paste that SUCKA down. LOL

OK...the little screen on the RIGHT is my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring sensor)...I love that thing!!

I like the look of it. covers the lower part of the tank. Not the entire tank like most tank bibs. Can I ask the Cost. Like to have on for my 2012 Cross Roads..
Thanks for the info.So pretty much there's no turning back once it's on.I don't know if I like that idea.

Scott,

It's the same way you're badges are held on, so they can come off. Just takes a little effort and glue removal product to get it back to stock.
I don't ride enough. Only 138,000km since April 7, 2010 on my '10 XR

Scott,

Yes and no. Yes, it's pretty well stuck in the position you put it down on...however if you mess up (and I did the first time), you just pull it up and the tape actually comes off the tank pretty easy AT THAT POINT and then put some more double-sided tape on the bib.

I actually used 3M dual lock...I just like the way it works.
