Christian Riders???

Not trying to start a "religious" debate but there was a thread on the V Star website and after receiving a pm from another member on this site I was just curious how many Christian Riders are on here as well.

For me, I am a Christian and have been riding with the Christian Motorcyclist Association for about 2 years.
I hope this thread gets a lot of positive activity. Best of luck!

QUALITY over speed. Doing a crappy job fast is worthless, so take pride in your work as so few do these days. If you want to lose respect, then act like your work doesn't matter.
Our group is call Hosanna Bikers. We ride 2 times a month. One half day around 120 miles. One all day 300-400 miles. The half day averages 50 bikes. When we have our rally there are over 200 bikes that show up.
I have a female friend that invites me to ride with her church group but it is not what I would call an official club, just a bunch of them get together to ride. There are about 50 in the group.
^ That post almost made it sound like I knew what I was talking about.

A good rider can overcome marginal equipment. However, even the best equipment can't overcome a marginal rider.
I'm a Christian. I don't belong to CMA, but my church has a group ride usually last Saturday of the month from April to October. We welcome anyone who wants to come along. This will be my second season on these rides and my first with my Victory. As far as I know I'll be the only one on a victory, but I bet that changes fast Smile

I hope this doesn't offend you, because I'm not being impertinent here. I like the thought of Jesus riding a motorcycle with a big smile on His face. I think it comports with the humanity of His earthly life. Although He was a "Man of Sorrows", He also ate, drank, danced and enjoyed the company of others. Why not leading a pack of motorcyclists out enjoying His creation?

Good on ya, brothers.
I too am a Christian. I don't belong to any organized groups. Not all but most of my riding friends are Christian too. We have a riding group at our church and I have ridden with them a couple of times but like most groups, their rides become too much of "follow the leader", not my style of riding. Haha, I guess I've been a loner too long. I much prefer riding alone or with 3 or 4 bikes max.

I'd rather ride my motorcycle and think about God than sit in a church thinking about riding my bike. Any time I've been somewhere where the CMA was present I always found them to be pleasant people to chat with. ie they didn't try and preach, just let their character be it's own example.
I'm a Christian rider and would like to hear back from other Christians or a CMA in the Tucson area. I've heard there's a group in Tucson, but I can't seem to locate them.
I don't belong to any organized church. I have been on a couple of rides where there were about 5 or 6 riders from the "Black Sheep." They are a Christian motorcycle club. We visited before the ride and had a good time hanging with them.

I think it's a great thing for like minded folks with the same values to hang together.
